Blog#02 ISEAP 2021 Conference

December 10-11, 2021 ISEAP 2021 Conference

Despite the Pandemic, the second ISEAP international conference “Philosophies around East Asian Seas” was successfully held on December 10-11, 2021 virtually.

We were very glad to receive more than 50 abstract submissions from all over the world and to have more than 170 audiences join us.

It was also our great honor and pleasure to have keynote speakers Professor Philip J. IVANHOE and Professor Michiko YUSA with us. The details of the keynote speeches were as follows.

① “Nature, Language, Art and Environment”
Professor Michiko YUSA (Professor Emerita, Western Washington University and Visiting Professor, Tōhoku University)

② “Dasan 茶山 on ‘Sympathetic Consideration'(Seo )”
Professor Philip J. IVANHOE (Georgetown University)

We have uploaded some of the inspiring talks to the ISEAP YouTube Channel.
