Statement
The Journal of East Asian Philosophy is the first international peer-reviewed journal specifically on East Asian philosophy (published by Springer), which welcomes submissions on any philosophical texts, figures, concepts and traditions related to East Asia in a broad and comprehensive sense, including comparative studies within and without East Asia. Topics like the reception of and confrontation with Western philosophy in East Asia, the philosophical dialogue with traditions in East Asia (Korean, Japanese, Chinese and so on), the uniqueness and significance of philosophical discourse in East Asia, and the history of East Asian philosophy are particularly welcome.
Young scholars are specifically encouraged to send their articles to the journal. All submissions (including translations and book reviews) should be made through the journal website:
